WHO WE ARE
OUR COMMUNITY
VADF members are primarily from Northern Virginia and the neighboring communities of DC and Maryland. We welcome people from all over who share and wish to support our goals.
VADF is a progressive grassroots group working to turn Virginia blue by connecting people who want to get involved, share ideas, and take action toward a better future.
OUR MISSION
VADF's mission is to advance democratic values and elect exceptional Democratic candidates to congressional, state, and local offices in 2020 and beyond.
WHAT WE DO
Since launching in December 2016, our now 400+ members have organized and participated in over 220+ events including holding fundraisers, canvassing, gathering to hear guest speakers, participating in voter registration, phone banking, collecting ballot signatures, managing tables at festivals, receiving activism training and member meetings, holding postcard and texting parties, and participating in protests.
